Here's a wedding card I made for some friends a little while ago... I used a fairly large card which I think was A5 and used it in landscape format. First I covered the card with pink backing paper with white swirls, and added a die-cut heart. I had previously bought a packet of bride and groom card toppers which were quite intricate; the groom figure even has a handkerchief in his pocket. I added them on either side of the heart and also used some padded hearts I had from another packet. To anchor the scene I used a piece of patterned paper and then the words 'happy wedding day' from a pack of gold outline stickers underneath. There's quite a lot going on in this card and I think it suffers from the fact that I didn't really plan what I was going to do before I did it, but then I very rarely do!
Beautiful card...Like the color and the pattern you used...you don't think of to use matching Gift Card envelopes for it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with those... when I buy the blank cards they come with envelopes so I just use those.
